Praise God!!! I was on the morning prayer call and didn’t get to make my request. However, the prayer
leader had us praying for all unspoken prayer requests. My unspoken request was for my daughter Skylar,
to have her expenses for college paid. We were very concerned because she received a letter from her
intended college, with the amount of funding she’ll be awarded, and it was barely 1/5th the amount needed
for costs. The state no longer allow the combining of certain funds, the Lucky Day scholarships she was
hoping for, was not awarded etc. And being a single mother of five, I told the LORD that I don’t know what
to do, but my eyes are on Him. I was trying not to be overwhelmed and know that it is not God’s will the
she go into student loan debt, especially not, just leaving high school. I told Skylar to pray and believe,
because God’s favor is with her. The next day, she said “Mama, they called me and told me that I got the
Lucky Day scholarship!!!!” Even with this scholarship, she still needs thousands more. However, her
university recruiter, made a special trip to her high school to meet with the students excepted to the
university. When I picked her up from school, and she was telling me about other funds the recruiter
mentioned to her. And she said, with these funds, I’d have enough to pay for school and some left over.
